This notice describes the directory's current features. You can browse business listings without creating an account.
Searches and server logs
Search terms entered in the directory are sent to the site to return results and may appear in the page address. The web server may record requested addresses, IP addresses, browser information, timestamps, and errors for operation and security. Avoid entering private information into search fields.
The hosting operator controls server log access and retention. In production, this directory uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and how pages are used. Google may process device, browser, approximate location, page, referrer and interaction information under its own terms. Analytics is not loaded in the local review environment.
Optional location access
The nearby feature asks for browser location permission only when you choose to use it. If permitted, your browser uses the latitude and longitude it receives to calculate approximate distances and order nearby listings. The site fetches public business coordinates; your own coordinates are processed locally in the browser, are not sent to the directory server, and are not stored by the directory. You can decline permission and search by city instead. Location permission can also be revoked in your browser settings.
Advertising, cookies and third-party links
In production, Google AdSense may place, personalize and measure advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers for advertising, frequency control, fraud prevention and reporting. The correction form uses a necessary session cookie to protect submissions; that cookie is not used for advertising. Maps and business websites are external links. The directory does not embed third-party maps on initial page load. Following a link opens another service, which processes information under its own privacy terms.
Correction requests
When available, the correction form sends the fields you submit to a private queue on this site's server for directory review. Requests are not emailed automatically and are not sent to the listed funeral home. Submitted requests are retained for up to 90 days.
Include only the information needed to explain a directory error. Do not send health records, death certificates, identification documents, payment details, or private information about someone who has died. The form is not a channel for arranging funeral services.
